Jarryd Malouf’s keen and long-standing interest in advocacy and litigation led him directly to the Bar in 2012. Since that time, he has developed into an outstanding advocate. Jarryd’s practice is focussed on insurance and personal injury litigation, including in medical and professional negligence, public liability claims, life insurance and TPD claims, workers compensation and motor vehicle accidents.
He also has a strong interest in administrative law which is necessary as personal injury litigation evolves. Recently, Jarryd has become heavily involved in institutional abuse cases and deaths in custody claims representing family members. Jarryd also has experience in commercial, employment and general insurance litigation.
Jarryd is motivated, practical, and strategic, whilst being suitably aggressive in pursuing the best results for his clients – including plaintiffs and defendants. This has led to him successfully litigating several hundreds of claims in recent years. Jarryd always respects the input of both his solicitors and clients. He maintains a responsive working relationship and exercises unfailing diligence with regard to ensuring all parties are updated as a case evolves. He also makes time to answer queries and speak to clients whenever possible.
